A CARVED OPENWORK WHITE QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
JADE ‘HEHE ERXIAN’ PLAQUE The washer is carved in the shape of a large
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722) open-form lotus leaf borne on a leafy stalk
The plaque is finely carved in openwork tied on one end with further stalks variously
with the laughing twins with one holding a terminating in a flower, a smaller leaf and
lotus flower high above his head, the other a pod. The stone is of a pale celadon with
holding a lingzhi spray. The plaque is inset concentrated areas of russet.
onto a metal mount secured by four hongmu 4¿ in. (10.5 cm.) wide, hongmu stand, box
