CENTURY

The first is cast as a tripod censer, with the compressed body evenly
divided by flanges into four sections, each alternately enclosing a
scene depicting various animals and figures. The other is modelled
in the form of a fangding, cast to each side with alternating panels of
birds and butterflies amongst foliage. Both censers with a pierced
openwork cover surmounted by a lion and brocade ball.
