Another double-gourd form glass snuff bottle, but carved
in ruby-red with gourds, illustrated in Hugh Moss, Victor
Graham and Ka Bo Tsang, A Treasury of Chinese Snuff
Bottles: The Mary and George Bloch Collection, vol. 5, Hong
Kong, 2000, no. 911, was sold in these rooms, 26th May
2014, lot 1086.

The quality of the carving and articulation of the landscape
is reminiscent of another Yangzhou multi-overlay glass snuff
bottle illustrated in Hugh Moss, Victor Graham and Ka Bo
Tsang, A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles: The Mary and
George Bloch Collection, vol. 5, Hong Kong, 2000, no. 1014,
and sold at Bonhams Hong Kong, 28th November 2011, lot
90.
