wutong trees emerging from craggy rockwork,
the wood patinated to a warm lustrous dark

trunk, the exterior finely carved in high relief
with two magpies perched on gnarled prunus
trees issuing blossoms and flower buds, the
surface richly patinated to a warm reddish-
brown color
