‘HORSES’ BRUSHPOT
SIGNED WANG BINGRONG, QING 《王炳榮作》款
DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
of cylindrical form, finely decorated to the
exterior in high relief with three horses in a
landscape, meticulously detailed, the horses’
eyes picked out in enamel, the rim incised with
‘nodes’ in imitation of bamboo, the countersunk
base centered with a raised square cartouche
incised with the four-character marker’s mark,
applied overall with a lemon-yellow glaze
height 3¾ in., 9.4 cm
