           A LARGE GOLD AND SILVER-INLAID BRONZE ARCHAISTIC
           WINE VESSEL
           18th/19th century
           Of square section with high shoulders tapering towards the base,
           the body cast with a band of archaistic motifs between a kuilong
           band above, and a band of cicada blades below, all surmounted by
           a square neck with galleried rim decorated with archaistic bands,
           the angular domed cover with finial and splayed foot ring similarly
           decorated but with the addition of molded tiger masks, the middle
           of each side and the corners set with raised flanges, two opposing
           sides set below the shoulder with loop handles issuing from the
           mouths of mythical beasts, and one other side set below the mid-
           section with a single similar handle, the decoration all highlighted with
           gold and silver inlay.
