19th century
Of rectangular shape with a top sliding
rectangular mirror above three front drawers,
with silver wire inlays depicting precious
objects on the sides and two ladies playing
a guzheng on a medallion at the top, metal
fittings in the shape of auspicious symbols
including bats, double gourds and peaches
decorated with champlevé enamels.

The chest of oblong octagonal form,
decorated with flower sprays, the front with
a scene of boys, the stand of low rectangular
form with short slightly incurved feet. The
chest: 49.5cm (19 1/2in) high (2).

A COPPER REPOUSSÉ TABLE SCREEN
19th Century
The rectangular panel decorated to depict
the Three Star Gods, Fulushou sanxing,
before two attendants holding flags, against
a stipple ground decorated with peonies,
within a wide border of ferocious dragons,
the raised edges gilt, supported on a
hongmu stand, inlaid with mother-of-pearl to
depict figural scenes, and carved in relief to
depict a pair of dragon fish above the feet,
and pair of lions on either side.
