FOUR ARCHAISTIC JADE PENDANT AND BEADS
Late Qing Dynasty
Comprising an axe of flattened teardrop shape, pierced on the narrow
end, the celadon stone mottled and stained brown in areas; a short
cylinder bead with thick walls, deeply carved with a chi dragon, the
stone mottled black and russet-brown; a slender cylinder bead lively
carved with a chi dragon in relief, the celadon stone lightly stained
black; a double-cong bead carved with a chi dragon on one side, the
other sides decorated with six tiers of double panels, the ends finished
with circular rims, the celadon stone mottled with natural inclusions. (4)
1 3/16in to 2 15/16in (3cm to 7.5cm) high

A STRING OF EIGHTEEN ARCHAISTIC JADE CONG-FORM
BEADS
Late Qing Dynasty
Each carved in the form of a three-tiered cong cylinder, the square-
section corners with incised notches, a circular neck at either end,
pierced with a central aperture, the stone stained in various tones of
brown.
Each bead approximately 3/8in (1cm) long
