AN INSCRIBED PEWTER MELON-FORM 清康熙丙辰年（1676） 沈存周製錫製瓜形水滴
WATER DROPPER 銘文： 綠陰漫竹架，瓜熟喜新秋。堪作高人饌，恬然與味幽。

SIGNED SHEN CUNZHOU, DATED TO BINGCHEN CYCLICAL YEAR 丙辰上巳日，沈存周製。
CORRESPONDING TO 1676 AND OF THE PERIOD 垂葉似碧，結□如金。書□間對，抱膝長吟。
The water dropper is modelled in the form of a lobed gourd, 竹居主人，鷺雝銘。
incised on the body with poetic inscriptions signed by Shen 澤潤□葩
Cunzhou with one seal reading Cunzhou, The base is incised with
a two-character inscription reading Lu Yong. 底款：鷺雝
