SIGNED MA SHAOXUAN, DATED SPRING OF JIACHEN YEAR, CORRESPONDING TO 1904
1904年 馬少宣 玻璃內畫科及第鼻煙壺
One side is painted with a kingfsher and lotus and an inscription, and the reverse is inscribed with an excerpt
from the Song dynasty poem, Ai Lian Shuo “On the love of lotus”, and signed by the artist with one seal.
