礬紅 [永慶長春] 楷書款

Each jardinière is decorated to the exterior en grisaille to depict birds in fight above foral sprays, set
against a turquoise ground. The area just below the rim with a Daya Zhai (‘Studio of Great Elegance’) mark
and a cartouche reaching Tian di jia chun (‘Spring throughout heaven and earth’) seal in iron-red.
