The vase is delicately decorated to one side of the exterior with two birds
perched on a leafy branch. The base is painted with a six-character artist’s seal
mark of Wang Bu (1898-1968).

A FAMILLE ROSE ‘IMMORTALS’ TABLE SCREEN
19TH CENTURY
清十九世紀 粉彩八仙圖桌屏
The porcelain panel is decorated with the Eight Immortals riding
mythical beasts amidst rocks and pine. The wood mount is carved
with bats and peaches on an openwork ground.
