A JADEITE BARREL-FORM BRUSH WASHER, XI
19TH-20TH CENTURY
清十九/二十世紀 翠玉聯枝筒形洗
The sides of the round barrel are carved to simulate wood panels, with
a leafy branch resting on the top of the vessel. The semi-translucent
stone is of a pale tone with green, dark grey and snowy white fecks.

明十七世紀 白玉鏤雕鵝啣蓮花牌
The plaque is carved and pierced to depict a goose amongst scrolling lotus.
The stone is of a pale tone, with some snowy fecks. The plaque is ftted
in a later German silver mount dating 1900-1930 with the maker‘s mark
C.Weishaupt.

The plaque is intricately carved and pierced depicting two peacocks
surrounded by sprays. The stone is of an even pale tone. The plaque is
set into a later wood cover and box.
