A CARVED YAOZHOU CELADON VASE
SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)

宋 耀州窯青釉刻蓮紋瓶

The vase is carved to the exterior with lotus blooms growing
from leafy scrolling foliage, below a stylised lappet band to the
foot. It is covered in an olive green glaze, pooling to a darker
tone within the crevices of the decoration.

A LONGQUAN CELADON ‘TWIN FISH’ DISH
SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY (1127-1279)

南宋 龍泉青釉雙魚紋盤

The dish is decorated to the interior with a pair of scaly fsh
moulded in high relief swimming in opposite directions.
The exterior is moulded with lotus petals radiating upward
from the short foot. It is covered in a pale green glaze of slightly
olive tone.
