A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE MARRIAGE BOWL
18TH CENTURY
清十八世紀 青白玉雙耳活環洗
The shallow bowl is carved in low relief with a band of stylised scroll below a classical scroll at the slightly
fared rim. The sides have two handles with taotie masks with loose rings. The stone is of a pale celadon
tone with a large russet area on one side and sufused with milky white inclusions.
