The headdress is chased in openwork with
a butterfy in the center fanked by foral
scrolls, and is inset with jadeite, pearls, and
opals.

A PINK TOURMALINE PENDANT AND A
PAIR OF PINK TOURMALINE EARRINGS
LATE QING DYNASTY
The pendant is carved as two persimmons
borne on a leafy branch and with two
magpies perched on the sides, and string
an emerald-green barrel-shaped bead. The
pendant is accompanied by a pair of earrings,
each carved as a double-gourd. All with 14k
gold fttings.
