Dishes of good late period ware they describe the scenes which

are painted on the dishes. No. 221. Nani-wa, no Iku-dama
NO SHA. The temple of Ikndama, of Naniwa. Naniwa is
another name for Osaka. No. 222. Naniwa, no Sakura
Miya. Sakura no Miya is the name of a picturesque place
in Osaka.

Dai Nip-pon, Ku-tani sei, Ku-roku yegaku. Made in Kntani^
Great Japan. Painted by Kuroku. The seal, which reads
Sei, is the mark of Kuroku.
