134                       KIOTO POTTERY.














                        Painted upon    a  small Cup    of porcelain  decorated with
                   red and gold    in  the  kinrande  style, which was invented     in
                   1800 A.D. by R102EN, the tenth     in descent from Zengoro the
                   founder   of  the  Yeiraku   family.    Dai   Nip-pon,   Yei-raku
                   TSUKURU.    Made   by  Yeiraku,   Great Japan.    The   inscription
                   is  in  gold, and  is surrounded by a     circle  of blue.






















                        Painted   upon   a  Saucer   of  porcelain  decorated   in  the
                   kinrande   fashion    the   inscription,  which   is  in  red  in  a
                                       ;
                   blue  circle,  is  the same as that given above.











                                                  No. 257.

                        Painted   in  red upon   a Wine Cup      of  porcelain.   The
                   inscription  is  the same   as  those given   above.
