                         Impressed upon a small Perfume Box, of faience, modelled
                    in  the  form    of  an  Okame    woman, made      by Takahashi
                    Dohachi    about   1820  a.d.  This   maker    was  celebrated  for
                    his  skill  in making figures and raku ware.        Do-hachi, the
                    maker’s name.
