                      The   latter  mark   is  taken  from  a yehon   of  Hokusai’s
                 sketches,   and  the   small  characters   to  the  right  give  the
                 word   in Hira-kana    letters  for the information  of those who
                 are unacquainted with      Chinese   words.
                      When    a written   description   accompanies the paintings
                 or  drawings, the words Kaishi or Dzuye        are used to express
                 this   the  latter word   is written  in  various  styles, of which
                      ;
