A large apple-green glazed oviform vase
Kangxi
The oviform body rising to a slender shoulder, the thick mouth rim
gently everted, all covered in a rich green-hued glaze with a wide
crackle, the base unglazed.

237 The bright apple-green glaze, also known as lülangyao or green-Ge,
was one of the many glazes produced by the Jingdezhen kilns under
238 the supervision of Lang Tingji, Governor of Jingdezhen, during the
years 1705-1712,of the Kangxi era. This glaze is generally considered
239 to be a transmutation of Langyao red to green, due to the oxidisation

An aubergine-glazed tripod incense burner
Kangxi
The compressed bulbous body with deep rounded sides supported on
three short tapering legs, divided into three even sections by incised
lines to the underside, applied with a pair of upright rope-twist handles
to the lipped rim raised on a waisted neck, all under an attractive
aubergine glaze of deep and glossy violet tone.

A clair-de-lune-glazed carved archaistic bottle
vase
19th century
The rounded body carved with a central band with four pairs of stylised
phoenix issuing from archaistic squared scrolls between two narrow
bands of incised key-fret, the straight neck with stiff upward-pointing
lappets and stylised taotie masks at the mouth, the exterior all covered
with a delicate pale blue glaze pooling at the recesses and reaching
into the interior of the neck.
