房》款
The Jiuwan Shanfang is recorded as being the
name of a study dating to the Qianlong period.
The character wan refers to a piece of land
surrounded by terraced fields and is also an ancient
measurement of area.
A Qianlong period famille rose brushpot with a
similar iron-red mark was sold at Christie’s New
York, 15 September 2011, lot 1551; and a Qianlong
period famille rose bowl with the same hallmark in
underglaze blue was sold at Sotheby’s London, 7
