A LANGYAO STICKNECK VASE
18th century
The pear-shaped body rising gently to a tall cylindrical neck, supported
on a slightly tapered foot ring, the exterior covered with a crushed
raspberry colored glaze, draining clear around the mouth and stopping
neatly above the edge of foot ring to reveal the ivory-colored body, the
interior and base clear-glazed, the overall glaze suffused with a fine
crackle.
