A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE ‘EIGHT IMMORTALS’ BOWLS
Daoguang marks and of the period
Each potted with rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot ring,
the exterior painted with the Eight Immortals holding their attributes as
they cross the sea on clouds, the interior decorated to the well with a
medallion enclosing a scene of the Three Star Gods beneath a pine
tree, the foot centered with the underglaze blue seal mark.
