A SMALL BLUE AND WHITE STEMCUP A closely related stemcup, in the National Palace Museum,
QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND PERIOD Taipei, is illustrated in Blue-and-White Ware of the Ch’ing
Dynasty, vol. II, Hong Kong, 1968, pl. 30; two slightly larger
the body with deep aring sides rising from a tall spreading examples were sold in these rooms, one, 27th October 1973,
foot, painted around the exterior with lança characters above lot 266, and the other, 15th April 1980, lot 295; and another
was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 12th May 1983, lot 173.
owerheads borne on leafy scrolling stems, all above a lappet
band at the angled base and pendent jewels around the foot, ಳ£ 30,000-50,000
the interior with a foliate medallion within a double-line border HK$ 290,000-483,000 US$ 37,300-62,500
repeated at the rim, the inside edge of the foot inscribed with
the six-character seal mark in a line in underglaze blue
