Taisho era (1912-1926)
Carved and undercut as a large dragon, its head with a ferocious
expression and facing downwards, its scaly body carved in the round
and coiled upon itself, the flame-like appendages emanating from the
top of its legs conveying a sense of motion.

A CELADON GLAZED BOTTLE WITH BLACK AND WHITE INLAY
Goryeo dynasty, 13th/14th century
Of pear form with a flared rim to the trumpet neck, inlaid in white and
black with four vertical rows of flower heads and leaves beneath a
densely crazed olive green glaze that stops along the exterior edge of
the foot (hairline crack, repaired and repainted).
