                                                             Late Qing/Republic period
                                                             The first a three-tier stacked food container with lid, wire bail handles
                                                             on the side walls painted with insects and flowers, a metal ring finial on
                                                             the cover painted with birds, garden rock and flowers (hairline crack
                                                             to cover); and a small rectangular planter and underdish with indented
                                                             corners, the side walls painted with bids, garden rocks and flowers,
                                                             both undersides stamped China in red and the underdish bearing a
                                                             six-character Qianlong mark painted in iron red seal script.
                                                             8 1/8 x 7 3/4in (20.5 x 19.5cm) height and diameter of container

                                                             VESSEL
                                                             Late Qing/Republic period
                                                             Molded with a pair of handles on the wide body raised on a tall foot,
                                                             the domed cover molded with a conical finial, the exterior surfaces
                                                             and the recessed base glazed in a spattered technique of green over
                                                             yellow enamel, the cover front intriguingly inscribed in blue enamel,
                                                             perhaps reading dui ji si Shang [ji si possibly meant as 1869 or 1929]
                                                             (chipped, finial edge retouched).
