AN ASSEMBLED AGATE BEAD NECKLACE KANSAS
Including 106 beads of carnelian (average diameter about 2cm), two
mottled grayish-white agate beads (diameter about 1.7cm), and one
carnelian bead with three drill holes called the fotou (Buddha head) 5214
bead in a court necklace (diameter also about 2cm). A CARVED SPINACH JADE CYLINDRICAL VESSEL
The fitted lid and tapered neck suspending numerous separately
39 1/2in (100.5cm) long carved rings, atop a tapered body adorned in a raised-relief archaistic
band and several vertical flanges, all supported by a waisted foot; the
US$1,000 - 1,500 well-polished stone marked in numerous veins of yellowish and russet
inclusions.

AN AGATE FLORIFORM BOWL

Thinly cut in the Indian fashion as an open chrysanthemum flower
head with petals incised on the interior and exterior surfaces of the
translucent walls rising from a low foot ring, the handles undercut as PROPERTY FROM ANOTHER OWNER
flowering stems supporting loose rings.

A JADE FIGURE OF GUANYIN
US$1,000 - 1,500 Carved standing with a mala dangling from her lower right hand
and her left hand raised, dressed in layered garments and a veil that
partially covers her hair arranged in a tall chignon (minor chips).

A CARVED AVENTURINE QUARTZ VASE AND COVER
Of oval section and flattened hu form undercut with stylized dragon

patterned borders on the body and further stylized dragons separated
by an ovoid knot that forms the finial on the conforming cover, the 5216

A PIECED SPINACH JADE HANGING PLAQUE
Suspended with cord from two drill holes in the central rectangular
cross bar with projecting side tenons that are now glued into the two- US$800 - 1,200
section scalloped panel reticulated on both sides with cranes, deer
peach and pine trees extending over waves and rocks, the vertical

waves (cross bar possibly a replacement).

A SOAPSTONE FIGURAL CARVING

Of variegated ocher yellow hue with reddish brown veins, carved as
a bearded immortal and a unicorn at rest against a tall faceted rock
rising behind them, the base somewhat roughly finished (minor surface
nicks).
