19th/early 20th century
The first a silver bottle in the form of a butterfly, worked in repoussé
technique on one side displaying a large butterfly under a leafy
blossom, the reverse inset with a conforming white jade plaque with an
identical design; the second a double-gourd bottle, the gilt metal body
with filigree flowers, further adorned with inlaid turquoise beads and
enamels, the upper bulb mounted with a jadeite piece.
