A FINE WHITE AND RUSSET JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
Suzhou school, 1760-1840
Of rounded rectangular form with sloping shoulders, a concave lip and
a flat irregular foot, the interior well-hollowed, with one face carved
with jagged rocks, a leafy tree and heavenly bamboo, tianzhu, with
feint touches of the russet skin showing, the reverse uncarved with an
attractive russet skin.
