A SMALL BLUE-GLAZED WATER POT
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN
UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A CIRCLE AND
OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The compressed globular body stands on a
recessed base, rising to an incurved mouth rim
with a small notch. The exterior is covered with an
even sacrifcial-blue glaze. The interior and base
are left white.

A WHITE-GLAZED SOFT PASTE SQUARE-
SECTION BRUSH POT, BITONG
18TH CENTURY
The brush pot is modelled with canted corners,
each side is carved and pierced with the Flowers
of the Four Seasons: prunus, peony, and
chrysanthemum, all behind a walled garden, and
a large lotus spray. The rim and foot are decorated
with a keyfret band.
