A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE ‘PEONY’
WASHER
18TH CENTURY
The washer is naturalistically carved in the form of
an open peony bloom, supported on a leafy branch
bearing a small peony bud. The stone is of a pale
tone with snowy fecks.

A WHITE JADE ‘QILIN’ DISC
18TH CENTURY
The upper surface is carved in high relief with two
sinuous scrolling qilin, the reverse is carved with a
pattern of evenly-spaced nodes. The stone is of an
even pale tone.
