An archaistic bronze ritual wine vessel
19th century
Raised on a low flared foot, cast in the form of an archaic pou vessel
with alternating bands of stylized gui dragons and exotic birds
separated by vertical flanges on a leiwen ground, the globular body
cast with large and small ring handles on the neck and belly, the base
cast with an archaistic dedicatory inscription.

A bronze tripod vessel, ding
19th century
The stoutly cast vessel raised on three tubular legs embellished
with abstract cicada patterns under the fierce stylized taotie masks
separated by vertical ribbed flanges under a flat rim set off by paired
plain u-shaped handles.

A large cast bronze vessel, ding
Late Qing dynasty
The low set body raised on three cabriole feet and rendered in the
form of an archaic cast bronze ding cast with a broad band of abstract
long-tailed birds set against a leiwen ground under a wide beaded rim,
the interior well cast with a pair of fish centered on a two-character
inscription reading Daji (good fortune).
