A carved white jade snuff bottle

Very well-hollowed, in the shape of a melon realistically designed
with lobed sides, carved around the walls in rounded relief picturing
a woody sprig bearing leafy tendrils and additional melons, further
decorated with a carefully rendered bee; the soft-hued white stone
with an area of russet inclusions (natural depressions in stone).

Two jade snuff bottles
The first a spade-shaped bottle with a short waisted neck, flat mouth
and foot rims, the white stone cast with russet inclusions and pinpoint
grayish dots; the second a well-hollowed bottle of compressed
globular profile, waisted neck, flat rim, resting upon a splayed oval
foot ring, the narrow sides carved in rounded relief with two mock lion
mask-and-ring handles; the white stone displaying a faint celadon
tinge with cloud-like inclusions.
