AN INCISED YELLOW-GROUND GREEN
AND AUBERGINE ENAMELLED DISH
19TH-20TH CENTURY

The dish is decorated to the interior and exterior
with fruiting branches of peaches, pomegranates
and fnger citron, on an incised ground of dragons
chasing faming pearls amongst clouds, all
reserved on a yellow ground. The exterior is
decorated with further fowering branches, and an
apocryphal Kangxi mark.
