surrounded by bands of fower sprays and lappets. The
reverse is decorated with lingzhi sprays.

The bowl is of compressed globular form and glazed to
the exterior with a dark red crackled glaze. The interior
and base are covered in a white crackled glaze.

‘LOTUS’ BOTTLE VASES

Each vase is decorated to the lower globular body in

various tones of blue with scrolling lotus between a

band of shou symbols and stylised waves and a band of

lappets. The fared necks are decorated with stylised

waves above further lotus scroll.
