A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE
‘DRAGON AND PEONY’ JARDINIÈRES
19TH CENTURY
Each jardinière is decorated to the exterior with two confronting
dragons divided by peony and reserved on a foral ground, between
two diaper bands. The upper diaper band is interspersed with peony
blooms and the lower band is interspersed with fruit.
