The group comprises: a small hair pin decorated with bats and auspicious Forman (1921-2010)舊藏,於1950年代至1990年代購入

appliqué; a headband decorated with the attributes of the Eight Immortals;
and a pear of earrings with rose quartz pendants.

Property from a Private UK Collection.
The Collection of Werner Forman (1921-2010), acquired from the 1950s to the
1990s. Czech-born Werner Forman was an award-winning art photographer
and co-author of more than 150 illustrated books. He built an extensive and
eclectic collection of Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Islamic and tribal art and
bought from dealers and auctions worldwide.

The group comprises: a white-jade hair pin carved with two wan symbols; a
pair of gilt metal hair pins surmounted by white jade and fligree crab fnials;
a gilt-metal hair pin surmounted by a celadon jade bat; a pair of hair pins
surmounted by birds composed of a pearl and kingfsher feathers; and a white-
metal hair pin with a coral fnial.
