An elegant stallion wearing a saddle and a
feathered head ornament pulls a tall-wheeled Recto: an agitated turbaned man yells - with open
European-style cabriolet open carriage in mouth his teeth and tongue visible - his eyes
a digni ed walk. His pensive driver stares glaring and eyebrows arched. A small study of
distractedly alongside perhaps waiting for a an elephant’s head with trunk holding a scale
customer. This type of carriage was particularly enigmatically sketched above.

The present superbly rendered drawing is earring and jewelry. Black ink blotches in the
Company School in both style and subject. composition.
The drawing retains numerous pentimenti or
corrections, visible in the position of the horses $ 800-1,200
legs and carriage details with additional tinges of
white bodycolor.
