A CORAL-GROUND, STIPPLED, ENAMELLED AND MOLDED
PORCELAIN BOTTLE
Qianlong mark, Probably Republic period
Of slender flattened tapering baluster shape, each main face with
bat-molded panels, one painted in bright enamels with two quails,
peony, bamboo and rockwork, the other with a twenty-character black
enamel poem followed by two iron-red seals, all on a stippled (punch-
dotted) ground with a coral glaze and molded on the narrow sides with
lion-mask fixed-ring handles and flowerheads and tendrils, with a four-
character iron-red regular mark in a line to the foot.

AN ENAMELLED MOLDED PORCELAIN ‘EIGHTEEN-LOHAN’
SNUFF BOTTLE
Qianlong mark, 1850-1910
Of flatted round shape and brightly enameled and molded in layered
high relief with a continuous scene of ‘eighteen lohan’ each clutching
an identifying attribute, dispersed amidst clouds around the body, one
riding a tiger and with a dragon encircling the waisted neck, with an
iron red seal mark.
