THREE MONOCHROMATIC PORCELAINS AND A YIXING
STONEWARE BOTTLE
Qing dynasty
The three porcelains of cylindrical shape, one with a mustard-yellow
glaze with underglaze sepia decoration of a Buddhist lion and cub with
a beribboned ball on a carefully lightly-brushed ground, Chenghua
mark; together with a teadust-glazed example with brown-dressed
base; and a mixed sang-de-boeuf and cafe-au-lait example, together
with a Yixing stoneware pear-shaped bottle with slip decoration.
Between 1 3/4in (4.5 cm) and 2 7/8in (7.2 cm) high (4).

A PAIR OF YELLOW-GLAZED PORCELAIN BOTTLES
1820-1920
Of tall cylindrical shape, each under an even mustard-yellow glaze that
pools in a brown ring at the foot, the bases glazed yellow, the mouth’s
white glazed.
