The shallow rounded sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim lotus medallion and incised rib well, illustrated by J.Harrison-Hall,
with raised edge, the interior press-moulded with a central floral spray Ming Ceramics, London, 2001, p.484, no.16:56. A related Longquan
encircled by lobes in the well, covered overall in a vibrant sea-green celadon-glazed carved ‘lotus’ dish, 15th century, was sold at Christie’s
glaze except the base which has a ring burnt orange in the firing. Hong Kong, 20 November 2011, lot 3022.
