18th/19th century E. A. Parry (1879-1946), London, acquired from the above on
The rectangular screen brightly enamelled with a scene of three sages 31 December 1923, and thence by descent
beneath a rocky cliff rising to the wispy clouds and gnarled pine tree,
all beside billowing green waves with white foam, with further blue Published, Illustrated and Exhibited:
mountains in the distance, all beneath a turquoise blue sky, set within a Royal Academy of Arts, International Exhibition of Chinese Art,
carved and pierced hardwood frame and stand. London, 1935-1936, p.169, no.2002.
Overall 49.4cm (19 3/8in) high x 48.5cm (19 1/8in) wide. (2).
