Carved with three small boys clambering about the elephant,
washing and scrubbing its hide, the body of the elephant incised
to simulate deep folds in the hide, the pale green stone with russet
inclusions. 15.2cm (6in) long.

A GREEN AND RUSSET JADE ELEPHANT GROUP with a ribbon, holding a string of cash around his shoulders, a large
three-legged toad clambering at the base of the double gourd.
Qing Dynasty 15.2cm (6in) high.
The elephant standing with its head turned to the right, a small boy
clambering on its back, deeply incised around the shoulders and
body to simulate the folds of the hide, the stone with russet veining £3,000 - 5,000
