Colourfully enamelled with five-colour golden fish swimming in the
white-ground pond filled with duckweed under blossoming lotus
amidst white, pink, red and purple enamels and purple-grain millet on

Decorated with a central flowerhead surrounded by a meander of
flowering lotus stems, later incised Qianlong four-character mark to

AN UNSUAL CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL DISH WITH OVERHEAD
HANDLE
Probably Late Ming Dynasty
The octafoil shape decorated to the interior with trailing
chrysanthemums, prunus and lotus flowers in red and blue over a
turquoise ground, encircling a medallion containing a dog chasing
brocade balls, the exterior with a band of deep aubergine waves
above the foot and further trailing flowers on the handle.
