Shanghai, circa 1900-1940 Late 19th/early 20th century, Huang Qiu Ji and Wang Hing
Comprising: a teapot and cover, sugar bowl and cover, milk jug Each facet decorated with panels of chrysanthemum sprays,
and hot waterpot and cover, with bamboo-form handles and spout, blossoming prunus and finger citron stems on a stippled ground, the
decorated with birds amongst blossoming prunus branches, on ring base with makers marks ‘WH’ and ‘Huang Qiu Ji’, and numbered
punched grounds, the bodies bearing plain roundels, stamped marks ‘90’.
Zeesung Silver to bases. The hot water pot 20.2cm (8in) high. (5). 17cm (6.5/8in) diam.
