18th/19th century
Of rectangular section with canted corners, set
on each side with a later tinted glass panel, the
borders brightly enamelled on a blue ground with
ribboned bajixiang and detached floral sprays,
the domed top similarly decorated on a blue
ground with Precious Objects and the sanduo
amongst foliate scrolls within floral bands and
surmounted by a lotus knop with a metal hook,
stand. 30.5cm (12in) high. (2).

A LARGE PAINTED ENAMEL TURQUOISE-
GROUND BASIN
Qing Dynasty four-character seal mark, 19th
century
With deep curved sides rising to a flat rim, finely
painted with a central medallion enclosing a
blossoming lotus surrounded by small flower
heads within a six-lobed ruyi border and a band
of interlocking chilong, the well with a continuous
band of alternatingg blossoming lotus and pink 761
and blue bats, the flat rim with four sinuous
chilong dividing Shou medallions, the reverse
with three large striding chilong.
36.5cm (14 3/8in) diam.
