     A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE ‘CHILONG’ CUP

     LATE MING-EARLY QING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY

     The well hollowed vessel is supported on a gnarled branch bearing multiple lingzhi heads,
     with two chilong clinging to the rim and another two clambering up both sides of the cup.
     The stone is of a celadon tone with greyish-brown and russet inclusions.
