deftly carved in openwork with three sinuous lions frolicking around a
brocade ball with flowing ribbons extending across the roundel, their bodies
stretched and paws extended, their round eyes framed by bushy eyebrows,
detailed with finely incised bifurcated tails, the stone of a pale celadon colour
with slight russet inclusions
