backwards, the stone a white hue with russet inclusions; the second
a phoenix, the wings and tail incised with great detail, the stone a
speckled grey-green hue.

A MUGHAL-STYLE WHITE JADE ACANTHUS DISH
Qing dynasty
The Thin-sectioned dish expertly carved as a blossom with overlapping
petals, surmounted by layered acanthus leaves serving as the handle
on each side and decorated with an undercut and hollowed flower bud,
the foot designed as a well detailed flower-head with rolled edges.
